Generator Engineer
We have an exciting new opportunity for a hard-working and driven individual with experience in generator engineering to be a vital part of our friendly engineering team.
The Position
You will be working within the Service and Installation teams to include hands on maintenance, installation, service and repairs on a varied range of diesel generators and associated equipment on various sites across the UK.
The ideal candidate must show the ability to work within a team and as an individual.
You should have good written and communication skills and be proficient in the use of software programs, such as word and excel.
The role will include travel, with the occasional working away and overnight stays.
We also operate a call out rota, helping our customers in the event of a breakdown.
Normal working week of 37.5 hours, plus any overtime.
The Location
We are based in Hazel Grove but provide generator services throughout the UK.
Experience
Minimum 3 years in industry.
You should have good working knowledge of the generator industry; diesel industrial engines; generator control panels and fuel transfer and storage systems.
A valid clean UK driving licence is essential for the role.
Any relevant qualifications are not essential, but beneficial.
